With a week and a match still in hand, Bedlingtonshire secured the Hadrian League Trophy with an emphatic 11-1 home win.
With an untouchable score of 127 plus a match still in hand, Colin Sampson and his Bedlingtonshire team tied up the League win and were presented with the Trophy by Chairman, Alan Bright, as soon as the matches were finished.
The Runners-up Salver will have to wait until next week to be decided.
It is between Hexham and Northumberland with Hexham having home field advantage but needing at least a 9:3 win against Northumberland.
The Plate is a different matter, though... It could not be much closer going into the last game of the season.
High Gosforth Park have 37 points. Westerhope 36. Longhirst Hall 34. With all 3 teams having home games any one of the Clubs could be victorious.
Mathematically last years winners Ponteland, currently on 27 points, could also win the Plate but it is a tough ask and everything would have to go their way.
Best of luck to all teams involved.
