Hadrian League win the 2023 Dixon Cup

At the second attempt...

We had a windy but, thankfully, dry day at Bamburgh Castle for the re-run of the 2023 Dixon Cup.

The course was very nearly a full white course - thanks to the efforts of Bamburgh Castle GC and their greens staff. We were looked after very well both on the course and off and Jennifer and her crew kept us fed and watered with nothing being too much effort.

Results

There were some exceptionally good scores given the conditions.

The outcome came down to the final three ball with Andrew Coetzee's Slaley Hall team taking the win for the Hadrian League.

The best individual gross trophy went to Dave Baker of Dunstanburgh with a superb 65!
