Slaley, HGP, Westerhope and Hexham Field Day wins

Field Day 2024

A great day at Close House with wins spread across four different clubs.

Slaley Hall won the Team Gross three points clear of home club, Close House with a best 4 players total of 301

High Gosforth Park won the Team Nett from Hexham who looked likely winners until a particularly good score of 76-7=69 from Darren Smith clinched it for HGP.

Cameron Thoburn's 68 won him the Individual Gross for Westerhope and Rob Henderson's 69 ensured he got the Individual Nett for Hexham.

Well looked after

Close House looked after us superbly even signing players into their WHS system before the event and entering their scores as they finished.

The catering staff, too, were ever helpful and friendly and we'd like to thank Close House for their excellent hospitality.
