The Colin Mussett Anniversary Cup Format - 2024

The Anniversary Cup is a four ball better ball, stableford competition played between the new Captains and Vice Captains of the League to introduce them to each other and to get the season off to a great start.
On the death of Colin Mussett - who put so much work into the League over the years - it was renamed the Colin Mussett Anniversary Cup.

Play is from the yellow tees for men and the red tees for ladies.
Each gender uses their own hole indexes according to the tee being played.

Handicap allowance uses each player's WHS Handicap Index and is set at 85% of Course Handicap.

Where appropriate - when there is a mixed field - course rating adjustment shots will be set using the England Golf formula for the tees in play.
Cards will be supplied with event, name, date, time and handicap (including any course rating adjustment) already completed.

They must be returned with the better ball scores for each hole, signed and countersigned.
Players are not responsible for calculating stableford points or adding the scores. Any errors made for these items will not be penalised.

In the event of a tie the winning pair is selected by countback using the back 9, back 6, back 3, stroke 1.
